Some years back our Porsche 911S began to rust out pretty bad so we bought a new body and put our 911 engine along with the wheels on the better body. We left the rusted out body at a friends house for about 5 years and recently brought it over here.

After researching electric car conversions I do not believe we could build up a better body into an electric car than a 911 because it is so light in weight. All of the conversion parts are easily available. We plan to glue flexible solar panels to the body of the rusted Porsche. This will charge the batteries while the car is sitting in the sun, not being used. The flexible solar panels will also ad a decorative finish to the car and help to hide some of the rust.
